Two Door Cinema Club are, according to their myspace, 3 people with the help of technology and a thirst for anything quirky. I liked the sound of that right from the off...
Seeming unperturbed by their lack of a rhythm section - the empty space left by having no drummer is humbly filled by an unadulterated macintosh - the trio play fun electro/indie tunes and are currently on the kitsuné tour with Delphic. Kitsuné do unearth some gems in electronic pop music, it has to be said...

It's fun, danceable stuff. Their only official release has been a single - 'Something Good Can Work,' - which is on itunes along with another track 'Do You Want it All?' but there's more on their myspace that's definitely worth checking out too.

I guess something good can work. (hahahahahaa.) Even with no real drums. That said, using a mac is probably a better approach than that of The Jerk Offs from Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist:

"But we found a new drummer!"

"It's a children's toy."
Ha. I know it's a pretty crappy film but.. I sorta love it. And I do just want to give Michael Cera a big cuddle.
